Dry Drayton School And Village Association

Registered Charity Number: 269765

Dry Drayton School does not have a conventional Parent Teacher Association. It has something far better - The School and Village Association, a registered charity designed to support and serve both the village and the local school. The Dry Drayton School and Village Association has now been running for over 40 years. Regular meetings are held to discuss its activities, which are to support the village school and to coordinate, promote and provide funding for, events organized by other groups in Dry Drayton.

If you have any questions about the S & VA, please email drydraytonsva@gmail.com.

Big Forest School Campaign

The S and VA has recently promoted a major campaign to support the school in developing a new Forest School Area and building an outdoor classroom.

The School and Village Association owns 2 marquees which are hired out during the summer to raise funds, as well as supplying the venue for Feast Week and other events in the village. The bookings are in June, July and August. The marquee bookings and rotas are organized by Neil Harris, Tel 01954 789049 nrp.harris@gmail.com. If you would like to hire them, we suggest that you book as early as possible because it is already very popular.

If anyone would like to join the team of volunteers to erect and dismantle the marquee we would be more than willing to include you in the rotas. (You also get a free pint at the pub afterwards.) For more information on hiring or becoming a team member please contact us. We will assume that anyone who was on the team last year is able to help again this year - please let us know if this is not the case.
