About drydrayton.net
drydrayton.net is the community web site for the Parish of Dry Drayton, Cambridgeshire
The site was founded in 2001, following "Dry Drayton 2000", a successful project, celebrating local distinctiveness in the Millennium .
This site exists to:
- inform anyone in, or interested in our village, of local news, activities, contacts, services and goods available in the locality
- help members of the Dry Drayton community and village groups who want to keep everyone informed of their activities
- celebrate the local distinctiveness of Dry Drayton, our place!
- do all of the above in a fair, supportive, open, responsive, accessible and entertaining manner.
The way the site is operated.
We aim to be fair, that is, impartial and supportive of residents in general without getting involved in disputes. We offer our services to all comers, and will respond quickly to requests to change any information that may cause concern.
We want drydrayton.net to be entertaining - we'd like to encourage people to return here through the quality of content available. By adding to the existing features of our place we aim to compliment other rich village communications. In particular, we hope to work very closely with the Editor of our excellent Village Newsletter.
There are free facilities on the site for all village groups. If you have any material you would like posted on the site, please e-mail: webmaster@drydrayton.net
